Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to all common questions about our services, process, and solutions.

How do I submit a Request for Quote?

Submit your requirement through the RFQ form at solvx.ca/contact-us, or email it directly to support@solvx.ca. Include your organization's name, country, program description, technology category, estimated quantity, and required delivery timeline.

How long does a typical order take from RFQ to delivery?

Standard hardware without export permit requirements typically ships 4–8 weeks from order confirmation. Hardware requiring an export permit adds approximately 6-10 weeks for compliance processing.

Do you only work with Canadian government buyers?

SolvX's primary clients are government ministries, allied defence programs, international public safety agencies, and civil infrastructure operators worldwide, including Federal Gov Programs.

Can you source hardware that isn't listed on your website?

Yes. Our website shows representative product categories, not an exhaustive catalogue. Submit your specific technical requirement through an RFQ and SolvX will assess sourcing capability within 7 business days.

What documentation comes with a SolvX order?

Every order includes a complete documentation package: a commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin. Additional documentation is subject to the manufacturer's commitment and Canadian regulations.

How do you verify the suppliers you source from?

Every supplier in our network passes a three-stage qualification process before SolvX quotes any of their products: identity and legal standing verification, export compliance and sanctions screening, and assessment of their supply chain depth.

Do you manage export permits on our behalf?

Yes. SolvX classifies every product against Canada's Export Control List before quotation. Where an export permit is required, we manage the application process with Global Affairs Canada and factor permit timelines into your delivery estimate.

Which countries do you supply to?

SolvX supplies to allied and partner nations accessible under Canadian export law. We do not supply to countries subject to Canadian sanctions or arms embargoes.

What is your minimum order value?

Any project/ Program is priority to us regardless of the number. We do not accept consumer or retail orders — all engagements are business-to-business and institutional in nature.

Do you store or handle controlled goods at a SolvX facility?

No. SolvX does not warehouse, store, or physically handle hardware at any stage of a transaction. We ship directly from manufacturers' or supplier's warehosue to final destination.
